  The service is excellent according to the price is paid. The swimming pools is small, but functional. There is also one swimming pool on 3rd floor, but I think the main idea is to swim in the sea. The buffet breakfast is vast and also cheap, less than 10 USD per person. There is towel loan, minisuper and mini pub, just to take some drinks. Separated restrooms and always clean. Check up at 3pm, check out at 11am. There are lots of buses passing everyday, every 10 minutes more or less, and some of them have AC. The hotel is located in "Zona Dorada". Buses take you to zócalo, located in "Old Acapulco" and also they take you to "Acapulco Diamante" where you can find malls and fancy stuff, but it is useless if you objective is to be at the beach. The hotel is right in front of the beach, very cheap compared to the hotels that sorround it, so I suggest to book in advance and call the hotel to confirm you booked correctly.

  It's cozy and warm place, You'll feel like your house and the beach it's something you shouldn't forget because it's beautiful

  The Calinda Beach Acapulco has a beautiful view of the bay of Acapulco. The ocean at this point is very clean and not very full, making swimming in there a very pleasant experience. The pool of the hotel is also very nice. If you're staying at the hotel I'd recommend going to the restaurant "Sanborns" that is next to the hotel, which has pretty good food and one of the best views out of all the restaurants in Acapulco.

  The very first thing you'll encounter is the slow-paced and uncoordinated reception staff. The hot and humid weather does not help waiting for TWO hours just to check-in. A little leadership and management could've avoided that. Of course, it depends what time of the year you go, but the staff is supposed to be at its best in holiday season and evidently it was completely opposite of that. In fact, the service was so bad that my family had to put all the luggage in the bellhop cart without the help of anyone. Worse than that, the bellboys just walked past us without giving a rat's ass. It was infuriating to do that and other customers stared at us as if we weren't supposed to take any initiative after sweating like pigs in the line. At least the room service was friendly and the food was decent. Still, this 3 star hotel has to care more for its customers. In the end, there are better hotels out there and you don't have to suffer through what I did. UPDATE: My cousin was in an elevator that just stopped working and went into free fall from the fourth floor. The navy and all sorts of maintenance people had to come to rescue those trapped in the elevator.
