::I recently stopped by on a Monday night as there was nothing else to do really in terms of nightlife in the city. I'm in my early twenties and a woman. I went here with two guys, also in their early twenties. This place had decent reviews and we just wanted a few drinks, so what problem could there be right? WRONG! I ordered a pina colada which our waitress brought over after a few minutes. Later, I asked for a second pina colada from some dude who I'm guessing is sort of like a busboy. I was sitting in front of the bar so I could see the bartender making my drink. I saw the bartender pour me a shot of what I can only presume is water since it I saw him pour from a bottle of water. I kept making eye contact with him and he tried to lower the bottle so I couldn't see. I choose NOT to complain about it(something I now regret) because honestly I didn't care, I wasn't looking to get tipsy and the virgin piña colada still tasted good. After two drinks, my friends and I were done and ready for the check. We proceeded to pay our tab and hand it off to the waitress. She mentioned she would return with change to which I responded that we didn't need any change. I'd already left my tip and I didn't need any change. A few minutes later our waitress walked back to our table to let us know she was missing more money from her tip. She said what we had left was not enough. I was shocked! She mentioned that we had not even tipped 10% (yes this is a faux pas as I am well aware) But, we had not left the establishment yet. She assumed she had already received the entirety of her tip which was not the case. I let her know people typically leave the tip they find suitable. She literally laughed and told me I've never been a waitress. My friend started to pull money out and ask her what she thought was reasonable, 15,18,20%? She said minimum 15% to which he started to pull out his money. He was going to leave her a larger tip and everything was to be fine but then she started to mock us. She laughed and said said things like she didn't know what we would do if the bill had been for 10 people. That was the last straw for me so I let her know the tip she had already received would be it. There would be no additional tip. She looked shocked and asked what my name was. I asked why and she said she wanted to record my name in the guestbook. Of course I refused to give her my name, there was no need for it. She turned around and left. She came back a few moments later and threw the tip we had given her and a slip on our table. The slip was called a ticket of exit letting us know we were not welcome. In conclusion, this whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. A server should never tell a client how much to tip them. To answer my servers question, yes I have served before. I never demanded a customer to give me more money after seeing how much tip was given me. If you want to go to an establishment that kicks patrons out for not tipping their waitress what she would like to be tipped then this is the place for you. If that is how this establishment would like to run things, then please state so on your menu so people know what is expected of them.

::I had a good cuban sandwich here but otherwise the visit was uneventful. For this type of bar I expected more "action". Good looking waitresses...
