A must see in Mexico City, given how important cacao is to the region's history and culture. There are some English translations but I highly recommend arranging for or asking in advance for a guided tour, which is well worth all of the extra interesting information you will get. Make sure you try the chocolate tamales downstairs before you leave!

The chocolate is just okay and there's no much to see in the place. They have second floor that full of the chocolate history but to be honest that you can see it in 10 minutes and you also have to pay the ticket to go up. It's not really worth the time and money to go. The chocolate we tried isn't so good. We were a little bit disappointed. The staff is friendly and nice though.
